Kappa Omega sponsored three seminars on the topic of poverty during the fall semester. One seminar presented a community panel that included Lori Quigley, Associate Dean of Education at BSC, Kristin Cipollone, Research and Education Coordinator for the Homeless Alliance of Western NY, Helene Kramer, Executive Direct of Read to Succeed Buffalo, Dawn Thompson, Head Start, and Susan Williams, Head Start. The BSC Social Work Department thanks everyone who committed their time and energy towards this great global concern. |
